Hey everyone, today let’s take a look at the Aethir S3 Discord Drop Season ! We’ll see how you can grab a part of 3% of the $ATH total supply by simply being active on Discord, and I’ll share my thoughts about it.
Aethir Season 3
So, Season 2 of Aethir ended in February, 8 months after the mainnet launch. The rewards are set to be given in Q2 of this year, so it’s coming very soon.
Season 3 started right after S2 with a new role system and will also last 8 months, until around the end of October 2025.
As always, it’s still on Discord that this season happens but this time, Twitter is also required for some activities. Let’s dive into it !
Roles System
Like in the previous season, the rewards will depend on the roles you’ve obtained.
There are 3 main ways to get roles:
- By referring people into the Discord
- Buying roles with points
- Participation in Discord activities
Let me now detail each of those progression systems :
- The referral system is easy to understand : you need to invite 3 members to get the first role, 10 for the second one, and 25 to unlock the final role.
The challenge is to recruit active people. Fake invites (alts) or inactive users won’t count. Roles are given manually after creating a ticket for a moderator to verify your invites.
- The social system is built around roles you can buy with points. By assembling all these roles, you complete the social progression.
You can earn points by engaging with tweets through the Engage bot.
You can also earn points by participating in community events, or by winning games like poker nights, etc.
- The last progression path is the community system. It’s simple :
Each month, you need 350+ messages in Discord (tracked by a bot), 6 local events, and 2 global events.
If you meet those criteria, you get a role. Two months have already passed, but there are still 6 months left, so plenty of time.
My personal view
First of all, I’m an ambassador of the project, so I may have a slight bias but all views here are my own.
I think it’s worth “playing” this drop, because I don’t believe many people will grind the ranks, especially during this low-hype period in the market.
I also believe the bull market isn’t over, and historically, year-end tends to bring alt season tops. That means the price of $ATH could be much higher by then.
We can also mention that many big airdrops were recently distributed based on Discord roles, like Wormhole, Ionet, etc. It acts as a kind of Sybil filter, which I think is fairer.
Overall, if you’ve got some free time, want to meet thers in crypto, and have fun while positioning yourself for a drop then Aethir Season 3 is definitely worth a shot !
