If we don’t know who Satoshi is, how can we know his birthday? In archived data from his P2P Foundation profile, Satoshi claimed to be a 37-year-old man living in Japan and listed his birthdate as April 5, 1975.
Like his identity, no one is certain if this is his actual birthdate or if it references April 5, 1933, when the United States government prohibited private ownership of gold under Executive Order 6102.

In Bitcoin’s first block, the Genesis Block, he embedded a message in the code: “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.” A one-line thesis challenging the current financial system.
Even after being improved upon by thousands of contributors over the years, the code he built continues to run a decentralized network that secures over $1.6 trillion in value.
In the Bitcoin whitepaper, Satoshi highlighted the sole purpose of his creation.

Satoshi’s known wallet still holds 1.09 million Bitcoin, valued at over $91 billion.
Would We Ever Know Satoshi’s True Identity?
This is the question that has been debated for years. There have been multiple attempts to find Satoshi, including an HBO documentary. While some deem it important to solve the mystery behind his identity, others respect his decision to remain anonymous and consider it a wise choice.
